Pictures and Confessions

Made grilled salmon for dinner the other night and thought it was pretty, so I took a picture.

Army strong!

  •  My back hurts a lot today, so I let Evie fall asleep in her swing
  • Sometimes I accidentally nurse her to sleep, but I still let her.
  • I often let her watch TV with me when I'm too tired to do anything else
  • I have no idea what I'm doing being a parent. Can you tell?

She loves the sea lion we bought her at the aquarium

  • We still only have one car, so I haven't left the house since Monday. I may go insane.
  • Because of said insanity, I cut my own hair today. I gave myself bangs. Hopefully it doesn't look too hideous.
  •  I make banana bread almost every week and more often than not, Dan doesn't get any.

Do you still want to be my friend?

  4. Evie is getting cuter & cuter! You're a great parent because even though you think you might be making mistakes, at least you have the higher reasoning skills to be able to wonder if you're making mistakes :)

  5. Haha I didn't have a car all last week cuz Josh took it to school. It drove me insane. I told him I needed to have the car today so I could just get out and do something. I totally feel for you!

  6. There's another thing we have in common, Brit: I love love LOVE banana bread, too! Sam gets mad at me sometimes because he thinks I'm pumping him full of fattening treats. But I tell him if he's worried about such things, I'll be all too happy to eat it all so he doesn't have to. :) I also love muddy buddies like crazy, and lemon bars. Those three are my go tos.

  8. I would still like to be your friend! As a non-mom who's opinion on children doesnt' really matter...I think you're doing great. If anyone says they know what they're doing they're probably lying.
