Today was so much fun. It started with Dan and I going to play racquetball together in the morning to get a little exercise. We haven't really played since college, so it was a lot of fun. And we are terrible. After that, we all went to lunch at our favorite place and got to introduce Diane to the bone soup. So so yummy. Then, after naps, we went to Apsan mountain and hiked for a while so we could see a Buddhist temple. That was seriously cool. I wish we spoke Korean or could read Hongul so we could know what the signs said at the temple, but just looking was pretty great as well. The details were just breathtaking. Also, it's cherry blossom season here in Korea, so the whole mountain was absolutely gorgeous. I tried to capture it a little bit with my camera, but I don't think I did it justice. Unfortunately, the tram wasn't working, so we didn't get to go up the rest of the mountain, but I think we all had fun. Everyone except for Emmett that is, cause he was a huge stinker.

Yet again, I forgot to pull my camera out and actually take pictures, so this is one that I stole from Diane. She wanted a picture of all four of us before we went into church. Don't mind my silly face.

We had a lot of fun today. Unfortunately, I only took these two pictures on my phone. We took Diane on the subway today and showed her the underground mall. And then we went to Hyundai department store and got some seriously delicious bulgogi bip bim bop for lunch, followed by some soft serve ice cream. By the time we got home, we were all exhausted from the walking, but I think everyone had fun.

Today was fun. We went on an adventure to find some kimbop, but failed. We walked over to the place that sells it with Jeanette and her kids, but when we got there it was closed. This was a little baffling because it's supposed to be a 24hr joint. So, then we walked around some more, trying to decide where to eat, and we eventually ended up at WooMul, which is just outside the gate of George. So, we ate some yummy hot dogs and even more delicious honey butter bread, and then went home. It was a fun outing and it was really fun to show Diane some of Korea.
This shot was accidental, but boy did it turn out cool |

Evie was really sick today, so it was especially nice to have Grandma here. She got lots and lots of cuddles.
today was also the first day that these two cuties actually played together. They were sharing perfectly and just having so much fun with each other. It was a beautiful thing.

Emmett had his one year well checkup today. Every single person we saw commented on how happy he was and how cute he was, and then he got 4 shots. Poor guy. He's actually a real trooper when it comes to those though, unlike his sister, and he only cried for a moment and then moved on. He even gave the people doing his shots some watery smiles after they were done. No, the real challenge was the blood draw. Apparently, they reccomend checking a baby's iron levels when they're one to see if there's an iron deficiency cause it could mean poor brain development, etc., which is news to me. So, poor Emmett had to give a blood sample. They couldn't find a vein big enough in his pudgy arm, so they did a finger stick and just kept squeezing. Needless to say, it took a really long time, and I had to hold him really right and sing to him to make it okay. My poor baby boy. Happy one year lil man!

80/365 and Emmett's birthday celebration
We waited until today to celebrate Emmett's birthday so that Diane could be there with us. Emmett was not a happy camper, so he didn't think opening presents and eating cupcakes was all that fun, but Evie had a blast.
Happy birthday little man! We love you so much!
